Sketchy.

Here's another sketch - this time from this week's Tuesday night drawing session at Mark Bullen's studio here in Philly. I've been enjoying trying to work on toned paper, for some reason I'm finding it to be a real challenge, though.

This is lovely!

Personally I really like drawing on toned paper, using willow charcoal for the darks and chalk for the lights.

Thanks Diana! Yeah, I think I'll go in with charcoal pencil next time - I also got some toned paper that has more of a tooth than the stuff I was using here...
