Painting. With KITTY!

Hey, so I mentioned a painting that that friend and fellow artist Alia El-Bermani had started of me last year in this post... she's worked on it some more in the interim, and now it looks as though it's finished, yay! Here is is, and it can be found here on Alia's blog:

Feelin' squirrelly.

Been paintin' squirrels, in between commission projects. Squirrels! The world's cutest creatures (see this link for evidence). Here's a sneak preview:

The silly in Philly.

More photos! Philly!

Philly under the snow.

Philly! Out and about in the snow:

Snowpocalypse.

Giving a shout-out to the non-snowy world from our little blizzard-y corner of the world. Heyo! I truly can't complain about being housebound, as it's given me some time to work on some painting - updates soon. In the meantime, the freshly blanketed streets of Philly, as seen from my studio window:

Snow day.

Phew! SNOWMAGGEDON, indeed. Being snowed in this weekend has meant I've had some time to paint, though of course never as much time as I'd like... anyway, here's a sketch of Alia that I was working on tonight...

Addendum 2/18/10: maybe this is a better representation of the sketch, below - I'm a terrible photographer! Arg.

Holding pattern.

Trying to find the (headache-free) time to get around to finishing this painting, a commission of a scene in Annecy, France. More soon, when I emerge from the cocoon of headachey/busy-ness:

Painting-in-progress (but almost finished!) by me, Diane Feissel.
